Unless otherwise indicated, original Platinum Steno instructional content, lesson materials, workbooks, PDFs, digital downloads, graphics, written materials, and other original resources made available through Platinum Steno are copyrighted works owned or controlled by AquilaNera Global, LLC, which operates Platinum Steno. All rights are reserved.
Personal use; no redistribution
Access to, purchase of, or download of Platinum Steno material provides the recipient with a copy for personal learning use. It does not transfer copyright ownership or grant permission to reproduce, publish, upload, distribute, resell, sublicense, or make the material available to other people, except where expressly authorized in writing by AquilaNera Global, LLC or otherwise permitted by applicable law.
Without such authorization, Platinum Steno materials may not be placed in shared drives, cloud folders, group repositories, file-sharing services, websites, course portals, email distributions, or other systems for access by third parties. Each person who wants a Platinum Steno digital product or workbook should obtain it through an authorized Platinum Steno distribution channel.
Previously free or legacy copies
The fact that particular Platinum Steno materials were previously offered at no charge does not place those works in the public domain and does not grant a continuing right to copy or redistribute them. Individuals who lawfully obtained legacy copies may retain those copies for their own use, subject to applicable law, but Platinum Steno does not authorize redistribution of those copies to others.
Pricing and availability
Platinum Steno may add, remove, revise, discontinue, provide at no charge, or charge a fee for optional digital products, supplemental materials, downloads, or services at any time. A prior price or period of free availability does not create a right to future free access or redistribution.
Digital product refund policy
Except where a refund is required by applicable law, sales of Platinum Steno digital products, downloadable lesson materials, workbooks, PDFs, dictionaries, and other electronically delivered content are final. Because digital products can be accessed, copied, or retained immediately after delivery, they are not returnable or exchangeable once a download link, file, or other access to the purchased content has been provided.
Platinum Steno does not issue refunds because a purchaser changes their mind, no longer wants or needs the material, does not use the material, or later obtains similar material from another source. If a customer experiences a duplicate charge, an unauthorized charge, a corrupted or unusable file, or a genuine failure to receive the purchased digital content, the customer should contact info@platinumsteno.com so the matter can be reviewed and, where appropriate or legally required, corrected.
Nothing in this policy limits any refund, cancellation, charge-dispute, or other consumer right that cannot lawfully be waived.
Educational notice
Platinum Steno is an independent self-paced learning resource, not a school, college, accredited institution, or certificate-granting program. It does not provide academic credit, diplomas, professional certification, licensure, or a guarantee of employment, speed, examination performance, or career outcome. Students are responsible for determining and satisfying any education, testing, certification, licensing, or employer requirements applicable to their goals and location.
